Video of the roof. Vegas, Såo Paulo. |
| With LPJ the illumination can be programmed in any software of video edition, record it in a DVD and run it from a dvd player having the possibility to work in synchro with the music. Also it can be live operated with any Vj system in MAC or PC, and allow the experimentation with cellphones, cameras, Ipod or any other device with video output. This generates a paradigm change concerning Djs, Vjs and illumination allowing the creation of better integration of audiovisual sets and giving to the illuminators new tools so they can work with the systems in a more creative way. LPJ intends to consolidate and form a new artistic channel with the purpose to manage illumination systems in real time in a new and more friendly way than the traditional ones. HISTORY In 2004 motivated by de idea of Udolph (one of the Cocoliche Club owners) started a project of non-conventional illumination, the idea was no to use dance clubs conventional lights, so he called Ailaviu (Vj) who was with the idea to start researching about video and lights. The meetings ended up with the idea of a rgb led roof that would be controlled with conventional illumination software. Time passed by and appears the idea of making a software who can translate video to DMX (information protocol of illumination systems) it was there that arised the first beta that converts video loop to dmx language. This was the first approximation of veejing and illumination. |
